What is PRP Microneedling Facial?

The PRP Microneedling Facial combines two minimally-invasive, anti-aging modalities to increase epidermal thickness and refine the skin’s texture. These are microneedling (also called collagen induction therapy) and your own platelet rich plasma.

How does PRP Microneedling Facial work?

A small amount of your blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to isolate the blood plasma component. The plasma is then carefully processed to preserve the unique growth factors and applied on the skin immediately post microneedling (your doctor may also inject the PRP liquid with a syringe to treat dark circles and scars).

The micro channels created by the tiny needles allow the PRP to penetrate deep into the dermis, helping to promote tissue regeneration and collagen synthesis. After a series of 3-6 sessions patients can expect plumper, smoother and more youthful looking skin.

What areas can PRP Microneedling Facial treat?

  • Uneven texture
  • Acne scars
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Fine lines
  • Aging skin
  • Lackluster skin
